The lodges have been superbly designed in local stone, are triple glazed and insulated to the highest Scandinavian standards. Each lodge is carefully positioned for maximum privacy, among tall trees, beside the beck, tarns and streams which interlace the Estate. There are four different styles of lodges in three sizes, ranging from the Grasmere which sleeps four, to the three bedroom Ullswater which can sleep eight. Langdale lodges are luxuriously furnished and equipped. The kitchen is equipped with Gaggenau, all lodges have satellite TV and Bang and Olufsen stereo.

Elterwater Hall – The sumptuous two-bedroom apartments face south to provide superb views over Elterwater. Interiors blend period furniture and decor with elegance. Satellite TV and Bang and Olufsen audio are housed in a panelled wall unit. The kitchen has every imaginable labour saving device. The bedrooms and bathrooms are magnificent. In the master bathroom there is a sunken whirlpool bath under a canopy of arches and pillars. The second bathroom has its own Turkish steam room. Also part of the Hall are Elterwater Cottage and Elterwater Barn, beautifully furnished in Victorian style with superb bathrooms, lounges and kitchens.

The Cottage is a delightful, cosy, two storey building with a single bedroom and the Barn is a magnificent traditional farmhouse with modern luxury and comfort.

Chapel Stile – in a lovely village setting is just a few minutes stroll from the Langdale Estate. The apartments range in size from one to three bedrooms, each with a delightful living room, comfortably and elegantly furnished with soft patterned fabrics and leather furniture. Bathrooms match the bedrooms for luxury with the larger styles having whirlpool bath, sauna and impulse shower. Chapel Stile has its own private leisure suite with sauna, solarium, steam room, as well as a snooker room.
